Hi I am Jennifer
An Onalaska Therapist dedicated to help you find a healthier relationship with your body, mental health and find your true, authentic self.
Days are tough right now, I get it. Living in the unknown, uncertainty and confusion is challenging. Especially for those of us who already have anxious minds. Feeling out of control is uncomfortable and nerve-racking, to say the least. Maybe you have been coping with a few too many drinks. Perhaps you are struggling with eating more than you wanted or you feel your ADHD brain has become unmanageable. Possibly your sleep is out-of-control and you are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. You are not alone.
I am a huge advocate of helping you find your voice, whatever that might be for you. Whether you are struggling with gender-identity, or learning to pull your way out of depression, shame or perhaps an unhealthy relationship. I am here to listen and support you.
Maybe you have recently lost a loved one and you are still grieving. The grief process can take time, there is no right or wrong way to grieve, or time frame. Losing a loved one hurts, and the pain is excruciating.
Possibly you are in school or perhaps already have the life you want, you might feel overwhelmed with the never-ending life demands and have lost yourself somewhere along the way.
What is it like working with me?
My biggest goal is to enhance hope in each person I see. I strive to help people feel comfortable in their own skin and be who they truly are.
I will help you reconnect with who you really are and tune into that clear voice in your head. You are going to learn to let go of perfectionism and embrace life with all its chaos so you can find happiness in the life you really have.
When things just don’t feel right, it is time to reach out and ask for help. You don’t have to face your challenges alone. My goal is to foster and enhance safe, comfortable, trusting, and honest connections. As your counselor, you can expect me to meet you wherever you may be on your journey and provide you with my support, regardless of circumstance.
My specialties include trauma/PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, eating disorders, grief/loss and overall life adjustments.
Together, we can achieve your goals, raise hope, and discover a deeper understanding of your life’s purpose.
